1. Purpose
This Beta Testing Agreement ("Beta Agreement") governs your access to and use of pre-release, alpha, beta, preview, early-access or "Founding 100" versions of the AmpRegs AI platform (the "Beta Software"). It supplements, and where inconsistent overrides, our Terms and Conditions in respect of the Beta Software.
2. Acceptance and Eligibility
By accessing the Beta Software you confirm that you are a competent electrical professional, that you understand the Beta Software is unfinished and may be unstable, and that you accept all risks associated with its use. You participate in the beta programme entirely at your own risk.
3. Pre-Release Nature
- The Beta Software may contain bugs, defects, errors and incomplete features;
- Calculations, validations and AI Outputs may be inaccurate or inconsistent;
- Features may change, be removed or be replaced without notice;
- Data, certificates and uploads created during the beta may be reset, migrated, corrupted or lost;
- Security, performance and availability are not guaranteed;
- The Beta Software may not yet meet final regulatory or scheme expectations.
4. No Service Levels
We give no guarantee of uninterrupted, secure or error-free service. We may suspend, withdraw or modify the Beta Software, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or liability.
5. Use Restrictions — Critical
You acknowledge that the Beta Software is provided for testing and evaluation purposes. You must independently verify every output and you should not rely solely on the Beta Software for the issue of any live certificate, statutory notification or compliance document without thorough independent checking against a known-good source. Issuing certificates produced via the Beta Software is done entirely at your professional risk and remains your sole responsibility.
6. Feedback
You are encouraged to submit feedback, bug reports, suggestions and feature requests ("Feedback"). You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify and incorporate the Feedback in our products and services without restriction, attribution or compensation. You warrant that you have the right to grant this licence and that the Feedback does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Confidentiality
The Beta Software and all related information (including features, screenshots, performance data and bug reports) are confidential. You shall not disclose them to any third party, publish reviews, share screenshots or discuss the Beta Software publicly without our prior written consent.
8. No Warranties
The Beta Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"with all faults and without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or compliance with any standard, regulation or scheme, all of which are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. No Liability During Beta
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, we shall have no liability whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the Beta Software, including (without limitation) for incorrect certification, failed inspections, lost data, sync failures, regulatory action, scheme issues, financial loss, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss. Where any liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Beta Software shall not exceed fifty pounds sterling (£50).
10. Indemnity
You shall indemnify us on the same terms set out in our Terms and Conditions in respect of any claim arising out of your use of the Beta Software or any document issued in reliance on it.
11. Term and Termination
This Beta Agreement applies for the duration of your participation in the beta programme and ends automatically when the Beta Software becomes generally available, when your access is withdrawn, or when you cease to use the Beta Software. Clauses 6 (Feedback), 7 (Confidentiality), 8–10 (Warranties, Liability, Indemnity) and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.
12. Governing Law
This Beta Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
